Over 500,000 visits to Royal Canal Greenway since last year

More than half a million visits to the Royal Canal Greenway have been made since it opened last year.

Research from Waterways Ireland show 640,000 trips have been taken.

The amenity crosses Kildare, Meath, Westmeath and Longford with 4 aqueducts, 33 locks, 17 harbours and 90 bridges.
