Over 30 people are waiting for a bed at Sligo hospital so far today according to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
The figures show smaller numbers at other hospitals in the region including 10 on trolleys at Cavan General Hospital and 9 at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
Three people have been recorded as waiting for a bed at the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar today, and the figures show no patients on trolleys at the Midland Regional in Tullamore.
