There were over 50 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals serving the Shannonside Northern Sound region this morning.
That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.
33 patients were waiting at Sligo University Hospital.
This included 19 in the emergency department and 14 on wards elsewhere.
Elsewhere 12 were waiting at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar and 6 at Cavan General Hospital.
University Hospital Limerick remains the country's most overcrowded hospital with 100 patients waiting there this morning.
