Over 4,000 IDA supported jobs in the Shannonside region last year

Over 4,000 jobs in the Shannonside region were IDA supported in 2023. The figures were revealed as part of a parliamentary question by Deputy Cathal Crowe to the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Simon Coveney. Longford had the highest amount of IDA supported jobs in 2023 with 1,801.

Meanwhile Roscommon and Leitrim had 1,578 and 1,104 IDA supported jobs last year respectively. Nationally, Dublin had the highest amount of jobs supported by the IDA with over 130,000.
