Over 400 Ukrainians are now employed across the Shannonside region.
The latest figures from the Central Statistics Office show that Roscommon has the most Ukrainians in employment as of December 12th last.
The figures from the CSO break down the number of Ukrainians currently in employment by county. The data also notes that some may have multiple jobs. From the 26th of September to the 12th of December 2022, the number of Ukrainians working in the Shannonside region has steadily increased. Roscommon currently has the most Ukrainians in employment at 167, up from 115 in September. Leitrim is next on 132, an increase on September's figure of 102 While Longford has experienced an increase from 66 to 107.
Across the Shannonside region, there are currently 2,395 Ukrainians who have moved here.
Nationally, there are almost 15 thousand Ukrainians now in employment after their arrival in Ireland.
