325 million euro worth of residential property was sold in the Shannonside region in 2022.
New figures from the CSO show the total number of homes sold in Longford, Leitrim and Roscommon across the year.
Over 2,100 homes were sold in the 12 months, with Roscommon recording a significantly higher rate of sale than Longford or Leitrim. Overall 972 homes were sold in Roscommon for a combined price of 150 million euro.

Leitrim recorded the sale of 587 dwellings over the year with the price coming to a total of 91.1 million euro. While Longford came in just behind Leitrim with a combined property sale price of 83.4 million euro from the sale of 580 homes.
