Local hospital emergency departments are once again under pressure today with over 100 people waiting for a bed.
Nationally, 627 people are waiting in EDs or hospital wards for a bed according to today's INMO trolley watch figures.
UHG is dealing with 55 patients on trolleys or waiting in the hospital to be admitted.

That's followed by Sligo University Hospital where 32 people need a bed.
Elsewhere in the Shannonside region, 12 patients are without a hospital bed in Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe, while a further 9 people are waiting in Mullingar Hospital.
University Hospital Limerick is under severe pressure today with 47 patients on trolleys and a further 50 waiting for a bed elsewhere in the facility.
