Temperatures in the Shannonsid region are set to reach almost 30 degrees Celsius.

The Department of Agriculture has issued an orange fire warning, as temperatures are set to rise up to 31 degrees over the next few days.

Those who're planning on having barbeques need to take great care, as the dry conditions can cause fires to spread rapidly.

We're set for clear skies - beach goers are being encouraged to take care around the water.

Ireland will experience regular extreme weather events unless global warming is addressed as a matter of urgency.

Recent hot temperatures and torrential downpours witnessed in many parts of the country are here to stay unless emissions are cut significantly.
