There was just one new case of Covid-19 confirmed in the Shannonside Northern Sound region yesterday.

Longford was the only local county seeing an increase with 285 cases in the county now.

Cavan remains the county with the highest number of cases in the region with 858 followed by Monaghan with 528.

Roscommon has 337 cases and Leitrim has 84.
