People are being reminded that it's ok to be anxious.

Older people across the region are being urged to speak out about any worries they have about getting back out following the lifting of Covid restrictions.

With many daycare and community groups beginning to return to in-person meetings, people are being reminded that it's ok to be anxious.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, Anna McTiernan of the Leitrim Development Company says that after two years of restrictions, many people are dealing with feelings of loneliness and trauma.

Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, the Older Peoples Services Coordinator says that staff are there to help those who struggled during restrictions:
