Roscommon-Galway's four Oireachtas members have pledged to bring the ongoing flood crisis at Lough Funshinagh to the floor of the Dáil and Seanad on a monthly basis. The commitment comes as residents continue to face high water levels that threaten homes, farms, and local infrastructure.

TDs, Fianna Fáil's Martin Daly, Claire Kerrane of Sinn Féin and Michael Fitzmaurice, who represents Independent Ireland as well as Fine Gael Senator Gareth Scahill met with Lough Funshinagh Flood Crisis Committee members at Leinster House this afternoon. Speaking following the meeting, secretary Geraldine Murray says a collaborative approach will keep things accountable:
