A Leitrim based charity is emphasising the importance of having a presence in the region.
The Manorhamilton based suicide prevention charity has recently purchased the former Garda station in Drumkeerin.
The aim is to have it up and running as a hub for mental health services in the region by June 2023.

Speaking on the Let's Talk show, chairperson of North West Stop, Nicola O'Connor says there currently aren't enough facilities around the Sligo-Leitrim region and having a building to work from is vital.
"We currently don't have the facilities in North Leitrim and even in the Sligo area so it's important we have a room. That's a very busy region for us so it's important that we have a building that we can operate out of".
