The winning lotto jackpot ticket bought in Athlone last month, and worth over €6 million euro is continuing.
Despite many rumours and speculation over the past three weeks about the identify of the person who bought the ticket, the National Lottery says it's had no contact with anyone about the ticket so far.
The ticket was sold at the Applegreen filling station in Arcadia Retail park on Thursday the 20th of last month and the draw was made on Saturday the 22nd.

Fran Whearty from the National Lottery says while people are still being advised to check their tickets , it's not unusual for winners to wait for quite some time before making contact.
