A new Student's Union president has been appointed to the Technological University of the Shannon in Athlone.
TUS is the amalgamation of Limerick and Athlone Institutes of Technology with 14,000 students spread across six campuses.
Niall Naughton has been appointed as the new SU president, following a term as the union's deputy president and welfare officer.

Outgoing president Aine Daly has held the position since 2019, working through the pandemic with students both remotely and in person.
