A new Covid testing centre is to open in Longford on Monday.
The testing centre at Connolly Barracks in Longford is being wound-up this evening with people requiring tests now being accommodated at a specially designed site on the Athlone Road.
The HSE has confirmed to Shannonside FM that the Longford test Centre is relocating this weekend from Sean Connolly Army Barracks to a Unit at Mastertech Business Park,

The Barracks site, which opened in the spring, then closed in July before re-opening ahead of the second cob wave of Covid will close this evening and the new centre will be operational by Monday morning.
