New Longford Covid cases in double figures among 400 nationwide

There are 401 new cases of Covid-19 and 15 additional deaths.

182 of the cases are in Dublin, with 40 in Kildare, 31 in Donegal, 23 in Limerick, 22 in Cork and the remaining 103 cases are spread across 17 other counties.

Only two of the deaths reported today took place this month. There are 182 Covid patients in hospital - compared to 360 on the same day last month.

There are 47 patients with the virus in intensive care - the lowest this year.

10 new cases of Covid have been reported in Longford, zero again in Leitrim and fewer than five in Roscommon.
