A new Covid-19 testing centre has been opened in Athlone today.
The temporary facility will be open this week at Athlone GAA Club on the Ballymahon Road.
The new centre is open to members of the public, with appointments available through the HSE's booking website.

There have been 382 new cases of the virus in the Athlone LEA over the last 2 weeks.
High demand at community testing centres in the region have caused delays in the availability of Covid PCR tests.
