Kathryn Thomas says she is 'honoured' and 'excited' to be co-hosting the Rose of Tralee.
She'll become the first ever female presenter of the annual event when she takes the stage beside Daithi O'Se next month.
32 Roses from Ireland and across the globe will vie for the crown at the Munster Technological University on August 21st and 22nd.

Kathryn told the Irish Examiner she grew up watching the show on TV every year.
