It's hoped the launch of a new Leitrim walking trail will add to the county's tourism offering.
That's according to Cathaoirleach Paddy O'Rourke who will be at the official opening of the Ballinamore to Corgar Recreational trail this afternoon in the Den.
The two kilometre walk is collaborative project between the community council, local authority and Leitrim Development Company.

The trail will provide a safe off road route for walkers and cyclists allowing visitors to explore the local landscape.
Councillor O'Rourke believes this amenity has the potential to connect to other walkways including the Cavan-Leitrim Railway line:
