N4 near Ballinalack to reopen shortly following three vehicle collision

The N4 near Ballinalack is expected to reopen in the next hour following a traffic collision this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a three vehicle collision involving a tractor and truck, along with another vehicle 2km on the Ballinalack to Mullingar stretch of the road.

No one was injured in the incident and the road will be cleared within the next hour according to Mullingar Gardaí.

Motorists are being warned to avoid the area if possible as delays are expected.
