The Longford-Westmeath TD remains under pressure over property he bought and sold in the last number of years.

An opposition TD is calling for Robert Troy to resign as Junior Minister following controversy over his Oireachtas register of members' interests.

The Longford Westmeath TD apologised for errors in disclosing properties he's owned and sold over the past decade on Thursday afternoon.

He claims he was under the impression he only had to declare properties in his possession on December 31st every year, and described his actions as a mistake.
