A local TD has described Town and Village Renewal funding a good news story for Leitrim village following last month's tornado.
The funding announcement was made by Minister Heather Humphreys as part of a €4.5 million investment nationwide.
Deputy Frank Feighan said the funding would be used to revamp a vacant property in the village.
Speaking to Shannonside News, the Fine Gael TD said the development of a Blueway Hub was one of the proposals for the building:
