Meta to make announcement over job cuts later this morning

3000 full time staff employed by Facebook in Ireland will know if they are losing their jobs this morning.

The company is to cut thousands of positions from it's global workforce of over 85 thousand people in an announcement at 11 o clock this morning Irish time.

It been reported that Mark Zukerberg has taken full responsibility for the difficult position the social media giant finds itself in.
