Mayor of Longford's twin town to lead this year's St. Patrick's Day parade

Mayor of Noyal Chatillon-sur-Seiche, Sébastien Guéret, will be the Grand Marshal at the local celebrations, to mark the long history of twinning between the two towns.

It is very important that Longford builds positive relationships with people and communities abroad.
That is the view of the President of Longford Chamber of Commerce, Fulton Grant, which follows the announcement that the mayor of Longford's twin town in France will lead this year's St. Patrick's Day parade in Longford.
Mayor of Noyal Chatillon-sur-Seiche, Sébastien Guéret, will be the Grand Marshal at the local celebrations, to mark the long history of twinning between the two towns.

For the third year running, a sensory area will be available at Longford Cinema to provide a safe and comfortable space for children and adults with disabilities to enjoy the festivities.
There will also be the provision of a wheelchair-accessible viewing area at AIB on Main Street.
The President of the local chamber of commerce highlighted the importance of celebrating diversity in our locality this Paddy's Day:
