There are hopes that family visits to nursing home residents could begin again on a phased basis in the near future.
That's according to Sarah Costello who runs Costello's Nursing Home in Roscommon.
The nursing home manager says staff are already making plans for the phased return of visitors as the vaccine rollout continues.

Should government health restrictions change, the Roscommon based nursing home is establishing procedures to ensure residents, staff and families are kept safe.
