A man is set to appear in Mullingar District today following a public order offence in Longford Town yesterday evening.
The man in his late 30s allegedly fell from his bike in the town and suffered an injury to his leg at approximately 8.30pm yesterday.
An ambulance was called and an off duty nurse stopped to render aid.

On attending the scene, Gardaí reported the man appeared to be intoxicated.
He allegedly provided a fake name to Gardaí and became abusive on further questioning.
He was arrested at the scene and is appearing before Mullingar District Court today.
