Man and woman killed in Cork house fire

Two people have died in a house fire in Cork. A man in his 80s and a woman in her 70s were found dead inside the house on Lower Glanmire Road in Mayfield. Emergency services were called to a house at around 11.15 last night.

Traffic restrictions are currently in place at the scene on Lower Glanmire Road, with traffic reduced to one lane. Anyone with information is asked to contact Mayfield Garda Station.
