A major extension for facilities at a Longford secondary school has gotten the green light.
It's understood that Minister Norma Foley has approved plans for five new classrooms at Lanesboro Community College, including a music, textiles, and graphics room.
Two classrooms for a special education base are also set to be developed and the announcement has been welcome by Longford TD Joe Flaherty.
