Substantial damage has been caused to a Longford business premises following a serious fire earlier this afternoon.
Emergency services attended the scene at around 1pm on the R198 Drumlish Road, 3 km outside of the north Longford village.
Up to 8 units of the Longford and Granard fire brigade battled the blaze at Pat Corrigan Transport Ltd in Kilnashee.

Thick smoke and flames were seen coming from the roof of the building before the fire was brought under control at approximately 3pm.
It's understood that no one was injured in the incident.
