Lynsey Bennett feeling positive ahead of new cancer treatment

Longford cancer patient Lynsey Bennett says she hopes that she will have a positive reaction to her latest immunology treatment.

Lynsey is beginning a course of the drug Pembro today, after having had great results from treatment she received in Mexico earlier this year.

In February, the 32 year old mother of two settled her High Court case against the HSE and the laboratory involved in her missed cervical cancer diagnosis.

Pembro is given once every three weeks and Lynsey says even if she has some side effects she will still be able to be at home with her girls.
