Concern over people congregating before and after sporting events is the reason why activities have been moved back to behind closed doors.
That's according to Longford Westmeath TD and Minister of State Robert Troy who says these measures are temporary and always subject to review.
The Junior Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment was speaking on this morning's Joe Finnegan Show when he said he has fielded lots of calls from people who are irate and disappointed over the new restrictions announced by Taoiseach Micheal Martin yesterday evening.
