Senator Micheál Carrigy says that more questions remain than answers.

A Longford senator says that the resignation of the Chair of the RTE board is a major setback.

Siún Ní Raghallaigh quit overnight saying it was clear Minister Catherine Martin no longer had confidence in her. The Minister had earlier revealed on Prime Time that Ms. Ní Raghallaigh had 'misinformed' her twice this week in relation to RTE exit packages. Senator Micheál Carrigy says that more questions remain than answers.

Speaking on this morning's Joe Finnegan Show, the Longford senator, who also sits on the Oireachtas Media Committee, believes full transparency is now required.
