Longford National School plans for extension now going out to tender

Extension works for a Longford National School have now moved to tender stage.

Plans were lodged for the development of a substantial extension for Scoil Eimear in Longford Town.

The project includes the development of two new classrooms including en-suite toilets, one WC for assisted users, and the replacement of two prefab spaces.

Deputy Joe Flaherty confirmed the works have been given the approval to go out to tender.
