The funeral of a Longford man who was missing for 11 days has heard how the community came together to help get him home. Peter Oliver Bohan's body was found last week, after he was reported missing from his home in Drumlish on Sunday, May 12th.
A major search took place, involving Gardaí, the Civil Defence, drones and specialist sniffer dogs. Peter's funeral mass took place in St. Mary's church, Drumlish today and he's since been laid to rest in the local cemetery. Speaking at the funeral, Fr Ciaran McGovern said the family are eternally grateful to the community:
