Longford hotel spending increase highest in the country

The increase in Hotel spend in Longford last month was the highest in the country according to a new report. The AIB Spend Trend report for May shows hotel spend increased by 18% in Co. Longford.

Meanwhile, spending in pubs in Co. Leitrim last month increased by 20% which was the highest in the country. The average daily spend increased 4% overall compared to a 1% increase in May 2023 with Westmeath having the biggest increase in May with 5%.
