Over 85s who have not had a call from their GP about a vaccination are being urged to be patient.
The first vaccines are being delivered to over 100 practices nationwide starting today and throughout the week.
People will be called for their appointment when the designated vaccines arrive to their local GP.

President of the Irish Medical Organisation and Longford GP Padraig McGarry says it will take a number of weeks for the rollout to take place.
