Longford Gardaí urge vigilance as rogue trader incidents increase

Gardaí in Longford are appealing for vigilance following an increase in incidents involving rogue traders.

Gardaí were contacted in recent weeks regarding a number of incidents in which an agreement was made to carry out works.

Substantial deposits were paid , however, works were never completed and in many instances never commenced.

Local Gardaí have noted an increase in these incidents in the Longford and midlands areas
