Longford Gardaí are urging the public to slow down following a major speed detection on a road in the county.
Members of the Longford Roads Policing Unit stopped a driver travelling 154 kph on a national road, 54kph over the limit.
The driver of the vehicle was issued a Fixed Charge Notice and will now face 3 penalty points on their license.
