Businesses across Longford Town are being urged to attend a virtual meeting next week to learn about a new project underway to rejuvenate business in the town.
Operation Phoenix is a multiagency plan by Gardaí, Longford County Council and the Longford Chamber of Commerce to establish a more visible garda presence locally.
The aim of the operation is to tackle shoplifting, anti-social behaviour and other areas of concern for local shops and businesses.

A meeting will be held next Wednesday morning the 3rd of March at 9.30 on Microsoft teams with registration available by contacting Longford Chamber of Commerce
