Longford Gardaí have arrested a motorist after they were observed attempting to evade a checkpoint in the county.
Members of the Longford Roads Policing Unit were conducting a multi agency checkpoint in Granard yesterday, when a vehicle was observed trying to avoid being stopped.
Gardaí using the Mobility App confirmed that motorist was disqualified from driving.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver arrested for a future court appearance.
