The price of dental work in Longford is among the cheapest in the country according to a new study.
The average cost of a routine filling is between €70 and €90 across a half dozen Longford dentists.
New figures from the Irish Independent have recorded the prices of the basic treatment from 220 dentists nationwide.

Westmeath dentists charge lower prices than providers in more built up areas in the East of the country, with a filling costing between €90 and €100
The results also shows dental work in Roscommon and Leitrim as more expensive then the average rural region, with lack of supply and covid delays pushing up prices.
