The Principal of St Mel's College in Longford says he believes many Leaving Cert students will still choose to sit the written Leaving Cert exams this year, as well as taking the calculated grades option.
Declan Rowley was commenting on the agreement yesterday which will see students offered the choice of taking the exam, getting a calculated grade, or taking both, and receiving whichever result is higher.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show this morning Declan Rowley says he believes students are very satisfied with the arrangements and it should work well for all concerned.
