Longford agri-plant secures further permission for expansion works

Longford planners have granted permission for further works at a well known Agri plant in the north of the county.

Kiernan Milling is a significant agricultural manufacturing plant based outside of Granard in Longford.

The company sought the construction of a creep feed plant at their Granardkill site along with a new grain store.

The expansion is designed to service the existing onsite feed production mill buildings, with further planning permissions granted recently for works at the North Longford employer.

Kiernan Milling was granted planning permission with 9 conditions attached including a planning contribution of €32,500.
