Gardaí are investigating an incident of robbery which occurred on St Mels Road in Longford yesterday evening.
A male in his teens was treated at the scene by ambulance services for non-life threatening injuries received during the incident.
The victim is believed to have had his mobile phone taken during the course of the attack.

Three male teens were arrested in relation to this and detained at Longford Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The three males have been released pending submission of a file to the DPP.
Longford Gardai have said the investigation is ongoing.
