Over €9.6 million has been announced for sports clubs and facilities across the Shannonside region.
It's part of the Sport Capital and Equipment funding worth 150 million euro, which is the largest allocation in the history of the State.
2.1 million euro has been allocated to Roscommon while Longford will receive 1.6 million.

Sixteen clubs in Leitrim are to share over 1.1 million euro in funding.
The projects include upgrading GAA facilities, pitch draining, club-house refurbishment, floodlights, and gym facilities.
