Local retailers are being reminded to be vigilant on legislation surrounding disposable and rechargeable vape devices and e-cigarettes. WEEE Ireland says non-compliance could result in significant fines and legal consequences.
Speaking to Let's Talk earlier today, Elizabeth O'Reilly who's Head of Environmental Compliance at WEEE Ireland says retailers need to ensure that they are stocking products that are registered in Ireland. She also had this advice for retailers stocking the items in their stores:
