17 people in the Shannonside region received Irish citizenship earlier this week at the National Concert Hall Dublin
Longford had the highest amount of new Irish citizens at the ceremony with 8.

Meanwhile Roscommon and Leitrim had 5 and 4 new Irish citizens attend the ceremony respectively.
Nationally, 1,200 people received Irish citzenship at Monday's ceremony.
