Ministers from across the Shannonside Northern Sound region will travel across the globe this St. Patrick's Day in an effort to promote the country.
Longford Westmeath TD Peter Burke will visit Japan and South Korea while Fianna Fail's Robert Troy will travel to India.
Minister Frank Feighan will visit Poland while it's understood the Minister for Community and Rural Development Heather Humphreys will not be traveling abroad this year.

While overseas, the ministers will attend a number of engagements to rebuild connections and support communities across the world.
Local authorities have yet to confirm whether or not Councillors will be traveling to abroad this year.
