Local Gardaí carry out patrols following public safety concerns

Gardaí in Leitrim have carried out patrols in the Mohill area after local residents raised safety concerns. There were reports on Friday, 19th April that a woman had been approached by a man in a car while out walking.

Gardaí have confirmed they received a report of an alleged incident near Mohill on that afternoon. A spokesperson told Shannonside News that enquiries were conducted and the area was patrolled by Gardaí but that no offences were disclosed.
