Local fuel supplier admits rising costs affecting relationship with customers

The price hike is being linked to an increase in the cost of materials, and the war in Ukraine.

A Roscommon fuel supplier believes consumers may not be able to take any more prices hikes.

Athleague native Neil Connaughton was speaking as the price of a bag of coal nationally rose by between four and four euro fifty cent today.

A further increase of two euro fifty cent is expected to also be added to the price of a standard bag in April, with the carbon taxes also set to kick in in May.

The Roscommon town based fuel supplier admits the prices hikes for fuels across all sectors is making it hard for businesses to pass the extra costs to customers:
